Rev. L Alan Mears joined us at Bethel United Methodist Church in July 2016. He is married to his wife Kami and has four children. Alan is a graduate of the University of North Carolina State (BA) and Asbury Theological Seminary (MDiv) and is an ordained United Methodist Elder. Since 2006 he has served churches of the Western North Carolina Conference as a minister and church planter before coming to Oak Ridge.

Amanda Gauldin has been a member at Bethel United Methodist Church for 32 years. She has served as the Director of Music since 2010. She received her Bachelors of Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and teaches middle and high school band in Rockingham County. She is married to Corey, whom she met at Bethel and feels passionate about the role of music in worship. “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!” Psalm 150:6
Elizabeth Crouch is a former piano, choir, and elementary music teacher. She received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts in Teaching degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2010 and 2011. She is a 2006 graduate of McMichael High School and a native of Stokesdale. She enjoys spending time with her husband Ben, and her two children, William and Charlotte.
